Tailored Support For Every Pupil Because Each Pupil Is An Individual |

The PiPeLine Alternative Education group of provisions offer a tailored, trauma informed approach to help pupils across the district thrive and succeed with not just their education but also their personal development. This comes from the understanding that, in order for a pupil to achieve academically, it’s essential to work with them and their families on the other needs, situations, and challenges that they face.

PiPeLine has been delivering strong academic, educational, and personal outcomes for pupils since first opening our doors to AP pupils in 2014. With a proven track record of working with some of the district’s hardest to reach pupils, delivering great educational, personal, and post-16 outcomes alongside exemplary safeguarding practices, PiPeLine has long been one of the primary choices for AP pupils from schools in Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Halifax, & South Craven for much of our history.

The PiPeLine Group is made up of three different companies and three different provisions, all working in close collaboration and applying the same ethos and standards. PiPeLine Bradford (BD1) focuses on KS4 pupils. PiPeLine Keighley (BD21) works with both KS4 and KS3 pupils from Bradford, Keighley, and surrounding areas. PiPeLine KS3 (BD7) focuses exclusively on years 7-9.

Who We Help

We of course thoroughly understand the challenges that schools face in providing individualised support within a mainstream setting. As a provision group we take pride in helping individuals overcome any barriers, helping to ensure they step forward in the right direction. PiPeLine provides a focused solution for many challenges such as:

📉  Behavioural issues & school disengagement.

🎓  Special educational needs.

🧠  Mental Health issues.

🗣️  Social/emotional difficulties.

🏠  Difficult home environments.

What We Offer

We strive to re-engage pupils with their learning and get them back on track academically and personally in the hopes to potentially reintegrate these pupils back into a mainstream setting with a renewed outlook on their learning. Of course we know that sometimes it may not be in a pupil’s best interests to return to a mainstream setting and in this instance we also offer longer term placements within our settings.

Our provisions take a very pupil centred, trauma informed approach with all of our sessions tailored around the pupils’ needs and academic ability. Across the group, we deliver the following Progress 8 qualifications:

GCSE Maths

GCSE English Language

GCSE English Literature

GCSE Biology

NCFE Music Technology VCERT

NCFE Business & Enterprise VCERT

NCFE Food & Cookery VCERT

NCFE Health & Fitness VCERT

Pupils will also be expected to complete the following additional qualifications which help prepare them for their Post-16 destinations: NCFE Functional Skills English (level 1 & 2) NCFE Functional Skills Mathematics (level 1 & 2)
